This was a semester long project collaboratively created with one other designer. This project was completed in a class called the Visual Design Lab. Me and my design partner were given the task of designing both a poster and mail card for the upcoming 2019/ 2020 Theatre Season. The theme for that season was called “Stories retold, reread, and reimagined” I wanted to capture the storybook feel of the theatre season. Each of the plays were represented through an illustration of one or more of the characters each one having a watercolor background to bring them to life. The texture in the background was used to give the impression of an old story book. Through designing both the poster and mailcard I gained valuable experience working directly with a client.
